We are in our twenty-seventh year and are known primarily for our ice cream, but we also serve delicious burgers and coffee.
We are in need of one more person to add to our full-time staff, especially as the summer ends and we lose so many of our college students.
Please do not apply if you plan on leaving late summer/early fall.
This position will initially involve full training in barista skills and will then include learning the rest of our menu.
Food prep, stocking, machine cleaning and maintenance, and store cleaning and maintenance are also part of the training process.
This is a position that requires attention to details and much multi-tasking.
Customer service is our number one priority.
We have a wonderful staff and a great work environment with people who are excellent at teamwork.
We do provide paid training, fairly flexible scheduling, and paid vacation after one year of employment.
Employees do receive a 50% discount on their food and coffee and free beverages on the days that they work.
The training wage is $10 per hour.
Starting wage for someone who is inexperienced is $12 per hour.
Opportunity to receive $15 per hour is readily available as your knowledge grows and as we can delegate responsibilities to you.
In addition, we do welcome the idea of having this position grow into an Assistant Manager position during the fall season.
