Painters are responsible for providing high-quality work to satisfy customer needs.
Painters will work individually and in teams in a variety of situations and locations to complete a variety of commercial and industrial painting jobs by applying preparatory materials and painting designated areas.
Painter Job
Responsibilities:
Perform work related to painting, paperhanging, and dry-wall taping.
Paint using brushing, rolling, and spraying techniques.
Ability to read and understand blueprints and other technical documents such as paint mixing procedures.
Ability and desire to become efficient with painting techniques and have a clear understanding of all aspects of a job as required.
Possess good mechanical aptitude.
Demonstrate initiative to identify what needs to be done and do it before being asked or required by the situation.
Regularly contributes and is consistently open to new ideas.
Operate, clean, and maintain all painting equipment and work areas.
Maintain standard safety practices and procedures.
Perform additional duties as required.
Painter Requirements Minimum of 2 years previous painting experience is desired Knowledge of the tools, equipment, materials, and application techniques related to industrial painting Ability to lift up to 75 pounds Ability to operate and work from aerial lift platforms as well as ladders and scaffolding Job Type:
