Structural Steel Mechanical Designer djrJob Duties:
oResponsible for completing project designs and detailed drawings as well as BOM's within the planned time schedule and within customer guidelines as required.oDesigner must be able to interpret complex engineering specifications and apply those specifications to the design of components and sub-assemblies using sound design principles, creative and independent judgmentoDesigner works in team environment under the direction of Design Manager and Lead Designer.oGenerate detailed drawings as directed by Design Manager and/or Lead Designers while following all procedures and company standardsoAccurately and efficiently generate shop drawingsoTravel to customer sites as projects require which may include field verifications and/or design review meetingso The employee will travel at times up to 10% when the job site is not close to the main office or when responsible for two or more job sites.SKILLS/ABILITIESoBasic understanding of fabrication processes and capabilitiesoAssociate degree in Mechanical Design or equivalent work experience Recommended Skills Assembly And Installation Manufacturing Shop Drawing Creativity Design Elements And Principles Apply to this job.
